The Oswald Family: Ponto Jetty Session

Say hello to one of my dear friends and her family. We gathered at Ponto Jetty on a blustery evening just before sunset and tried to get these 3 boys to stay still for just a few seconds for some pictures before their grand adventure for a few years in Scotland. Lots of laughter, running around, and chasing after them! Here are some of my favorites. Love you guys!

Toddler Time!

It's been a few weeks since I have been behind my lens (well...other than the 500 pictures I took on our vacation in Kauai). What's better than jumping back into things with an oldie and a newbie? I spent this week chasing this little guy around in circles as he explored every stick in the area and had a reunion with one of my favorite families, Kaia. This is my 4th time photographing Kaia...I love her Mom like crazy. She has become my #1 cheerleader and has sent me lots of referrals (like the little guy on this post!) which I am ever so thankful for. Thanks Margaret and Katie! More to come. :)

Family Session

How about a session on a steaming hot day in the middle of the afternoon with bugs, a whole lot of dirt and some very sweaty bodies. Yes, that would be this session. Despite the bizarre humidity in the air (for San Diego..yes it's bizarre) these guys managed to look splendid. You can't really go wrong though when you have kids as cute as these 2. Wishing you guys an overflow of blessings as your life will soon transition to possibly a very cold (but beautiful) new location!

Family Session in Coronado

How about a family session in Coronado during one of the busiest months of the year? Sounds like a great idea, eh? Bazillions of people on the beach and I think I saw at least 4 weddings happening in every direction around us. We didn't have a whole lot of freedom to move around to different spots, but we made it work and these guys were tons of fun. They are a super fun family with lots of love going around. I probably could have taken pictures of the sisters all day long..they were so fun, so silly and so authentic...my favorite things to capture. Megan and the rest of you it was great to meet you all. Thanks for letting me get sandy, a little sunburned and for reminding me just how short I am. :)

Zoe Isabella Yee: Newborn Session

So this is little Zoe...the little lady belonging to one of my closest friends in San Diego. Zoe was a little older than my usual specimens, but she cooperated just dandy and we were able to get a couple of super cute sleepy pictures in various props. (on a side note..how cute is that little bed...many many thanks to my parents for flying that out here on there last trip out. It was my doll bed when I was a child). To my crazy, sleep deprived, hormonal friend ...may God's richest blessings flow abundantly on your family, especially this wonderful little beauty queen. Much love. :)

Soon to be a family of 4!

Meet my neighbors and one of Ashlyn's little friends from school. They moved here from Japan a year ago and are expecting a baby boy in just a few weeks. Natsuko makes a perfect pregnant woman, isn't she beautiful? I just loved her dress. Congratulations on your little miracle who will be showing his appearance in just a few weeks. It was a lovely day photographing your beautiful family and I enjoyed getting to know you better.
