Ashlyn had her first ballet recital this past weekend. I was convinced that she's be a frozen statue when she saw the people lined up watching, but she did great. She shasayed her way across the pavement and looked as cute as button in her little red outfit!

The Miller Family: Mini Session
These guys are my fabulous neighbors and were a total blast to work with. Lots of energy, fun silly smiles and running on the beach trying to avoid getting totally soaked by the incoming tide. It was a fun night wrapping up my last mini session before Christmas. Thanks, Sarah and Craig for hiring me to capture those beautiful eyes that your children have!

Beauty
Now that I am done with my Christmas editing I can catch up on some of my favorite landscape pictures. As much as I love taking pictures of people I will admit that taking pictures of God's amazing artwork is my favorite. Here's a couple of favorites from November. The first one is of Jaedyn, my son on the beach in Coronado. The 2nd is at Torrey Pines looking south toward Blacks Beach.

The Grass Session: Mini Session
Here's another sneak peak of a mini session at good ol' Old Poway Park. (have I mentioned that I have spent a ridiculous amount of time there these last few months!?) This cute little man was pretty camera shy so lots of candids were in order. Here's a few of my favorites. Thank you Grass Family for your support. Big wishes for a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! :)

The Fisher Family: Extended Family Session
This family was perfect for a family portrait. Lots of tall people and fun kids that were super cooperative for some posed shots of the entire family. This was also the first time that I came dressed exactly like everyone else. They showed up in black shirts and jeans which is exactly what I was wearing! Thanks guys for supporting me and for letting me take your family picture. :)

The Ramm Family: Mini Session
This family of silly, energetic boys was a blast. We ran around and gathered giant leaves, threw them in the air, jumped into piles of leaves and really just had a great time. Suzanne (the mom) told me the next day that her boys asked her if they could go back to Old Poway Park with me to do it all over again! Thank you, Ramms for supporting my business and for spending a beautiful sunny, San Diego day with me at Old Poway Park (with a million other photographers!)
One of my favorite all time pictures...I LOVE LOVE this shot!!!

Mini Session: Bunn Family
This was my 2nd year photographing this family for Christmas. One year made a huge difference...Maddi was all smiles and was a little princess for me this year. Thank you, Chad and Liz for sticking with me for the 2nd year! You have a beautiful family and we totally appreciate every ounce of time and energy that you pour into our wacky home group. :)

Mason Oswald: Newborn Session
This little guy was born a couple weeks late at a whopping 9 lbs! His mom and one of my dear friends, Julie Oswald is an inspiration. Mason was her 3rd boy...her first boy was an emergency c-section. Her 2nd boy was a V-bac..all natural and this big guy was another natural birth, but at home this time. I love that she was brave enough to go against the flow w/ not a only a V-bac, but also a home birth and cooked that little guy for 42 weeks! She's Super Mom! Anyway...here's a few of my favorite shots of Mason. I can't wait to see what God has in store for this family of boys! Love, hugs and super heroes to you, Oswald Family. :)
