Family Session in Coronado

How about a family session in Coronado during one of the busiest months of the year? Sounds like a great idea, eh? Bazillions of people on the beach and I think I saw at least 4 weddings happening in every direction around us. We didn't have a whole lot of freedom to move around to different spots, but we made it work and these guys were tons of fun. They are a super fun family with lots of love going around. I probably could have taken pictures of the sisters all day long..they were so fun, so silly and so authentic...my favorite things to capture. Megan and the rest of you it was great to meet you all. Thanks for letting me get sandy, a little sunburned and for reminding me just how short I am. :)

Zoe Isabella Yee: Newborn Session

So this is little Zoe...the little lady belonging to one of my closest friends in San Diego. Zoe was a little older than my usual specimens, but she cooperated just dandy and we were able to get a couple of super cute sleepy pictures in various props. (on a side note..how cute is that little bed...many many thanks to my parents for flying that out here on there last trip out. It was my doll bed when I was a child). To my crazy, sleep deprived, hormonal friend ...may God's richest blessings flow abundantly on your family, especially this wonderful little beauty queen. Much love. :)

Soon to be a family of 4!

Meet my neighbors and one of Ashlyn's little friends from school. They moved here from Japan a year ago and are expecting a baby boy in just a few weeks. Natsuko makes a perfect pregnant woman, isn't she beautiful? I just loved her dress. Congratulations on your little miracle who will be showing his appearance in just a few weeks. It was a lovely day photographing your beautiful family and I enjoyed getting to know you better.

The Rodocker Cousins!

I love it when my clients return for more pictures...these guys are returners (is that even a word?!)....I had the privilege of doing a newborn session with Wyatt way back when he just a little newborn (a miracle baby I might add). Yay! We headed over to Lake Hodges for a little nature hike which turned into more like a sweat session as the morning warmed up very quickly. A big thanks to the mom and dad who worked hard and sweat with me at trying to use every distraction on the planet so I could get a group picture of these cousins together. Thank you, Rodockers for hiring me again..it was fun to see you guys, meet some more little Rodockers and especially to see that little Wyatt growing like a weed! Hoooray!
