The Oswald Family: Ponto Jetty Session

Say hello to one of my dear friends and her family. We gathered at Ponto Jetty on a blustery evening just before sunset and tried to get these 3 boys to stay still for just a few seconds for some pictures before their grand adventure for a few years in Scotland. Lots of laughter, running around, and chasing after them! Here are some of my favorites. Love you guys!

So fun getting to watch my sister in law's cute belly get bigger and bigger and take pictures along the way! We can't wait to meet that little girl cooking in that cute oven!

It's the return of the Oswald Family!

We have known Mike and Julie for almost as long as we have lived in San Diego. I have photographed their family before as a family of 4 and photographed their newest little addition when he was right out of the oven. And now I got to photograph their entire family, while Julie's sweet Mom and Dad were in town from Canada. I'd be lying if I said that this session was a piece of cake. Three silly boys with minds of their own and a lot of people to work with, but I think we pulled it off! Here are some of my favorites...enjoy!

Family Session: The Evans Family

I have had the privilege of photographing these guys three times. A newborn session with Charlee, a year old session with Charlee and now a family session while Corri's Mom was in town. This session was packed with everything from squeals of joy, to cries of sadness. These 2 were busy little beavers and were especially not interested in being busy beavers together with anyone else. Good thing I wore my running shoes and put on my silly pants. Despite their own interest in going on their own adventures I did capture some cuteness!

Family Session/Newborn Session

Meet Mr. Luke and his big brother Mr. Ben. One cute little nugget and another little 3 year old firecracker to work with. These guys were awesome...super fun, super silly and so laid back. The perfect combination for a newborn session. Big thanks to my fabulous friend Coleen Montgomery (again) for referring another one of her easy going friends. And Thank you Laura and family. You guys were perfect!

Welcome to the world Little Miss Charlee.....newborn session

This little niblet is the 3rd beauty queen belonging to the Gharst family. Allison is one of my closest friends out here in sunny San Diego and when I was first starting my photography business 2 years ago I practiced my first newborn session with Addy, who just turned 2. Here's one of my favorites from that session... The best part of taking pictures for a good friend that you know really well is being able to try out new ideas. Unfortunately little Charlee was not the happiest of campers for about half of our session which didn't leave us with any free play time. However when I arrived Allison had already set up some pretty stinking cute props in her house. We embraced her husband's love of hunting as well as Allison's mad skills in the kitchen. Love these guys...
